St. Paul’s, Uxbridge started a monthly free community supper. For the first one they had about 50 people with various needs from those who live alone to spouses caring for a partner with dementia to some who were obviously living with economic challenges.
They are wondering if there might be a group at
St. Andrew’s-Chalmers who might like to become involved. In particular they are looking for a team to cook the meal for the dinner on Friday, April 28. The cost of the food would be provided within a budget and the team could decide on what they would like to cook.
The food would need to be prepared either in a health department approved kitchen, such as ours, or if it’s more convenient, using the kitchen at St. Paul’s.
